Limited access to the Shadow Gate is open tonite.
The Realm of the ShadowGate:
When a monster level one, to the mightiest monster is defeated in battle, it is not completely gone...
It's essence, or 'shadow' goes to a sort of realm of limbo before it can be processed and ready for the
great beyond. They exist as level one monsters stripped of their elemental power. The problem is, wile
individualy weak, the overcrowding of this 'Shadow Realm' has caused many of these shadow beasts to
merge into more powerful beasts known as 'Shadow Kings'. So far, I have discovered, and locked away
39 of these 'Shadow Kings'. They must be defeated before they get too powerful, and punch a hole into
our beloved Arcadia...
I will hand out one key at a time to those who wish to venture through the gate, and you can choose your
path, but watch out for the weaker shadow beasts that lurk in the halls.
I will be trying a demo of the Shadow Gate Realm this Friday. (Tonite.)
For obvious reasons, the cells to the Shadow Kings will be off limits...for now,
but there are still dozens of shadow beast clusters hiding in the Realm.
Parties will move blindly through the halls searching for the shadow beasts.
I will play the part of the Dungeon Master, asking what direction each party
wants to go, and telling the result of each choice. I'm thinking that parties of
one or more will be allowed in the halls, but parties of 3 will be demanded for
the cells.
There will be 5 level 1 shadow beasts in each cluster.

The new element of shadow is weak/strong against shadow, and so far there are no
shadow-type weapons, but that might change later. All the standard rules apply when
fighting these monsters.
