I'm sure a good chunk of us here have heard of him before. George Carlin was one of the funniest men on the planet. He died from heart failure this past Sunday.

George Carlin was one of the great comedians who ever did stand-up. I still remember when I first heard his "Baseball and Football" routine. As a sports fan, it really made me look at the two games in a completely different way. Almost every night when I turn on my Internet Radio, I hear at least one of his many performances. He will be missed by many, myself included.

Of course, George Carlin also said that hockey is not a sport.

"It's 3 things: Ice skating, playing with a puck, and beating the @#$% out of someone.
