I played pokemon for a while as a younger kid and the last game I got was Emerald. Then I quit. My question is, is it still good? Has it improved at all? If it turns out it's better now, there's a small chance I MIGHT get it, i don't know.

And yeah, it's very good. I have Diamond and you can actually transfer pokemon from the GBA games to it. It's awsome! Smile

My last games were Ruby and Sapphire. I continued to watch the series until Fall 2007, then forced myself to quit watching. Glad to hear that the series has continued to go strong even though you don't hear about the craze that much anymore.

I have all the GBA games, and Diamind for DS. Wi-Fi is a HUGE new feature. You can trade and fight with people around the world and without friend codes too!

Yeah. It's basicly the only DS game I play.
I even have pokemon from Japan with Japanese names. Smile

And BTW, the graphics are sooooo much better than the GBA games. I sat them side by side and I was amazed how awful it made the GBA versions look.

Man I agree with STAROCEAN980....Comparing the two makes the older games look cheap. And they're coming out with another game called Pokemon Platinum. It has the same graphics (I think) as Diamond and Pearl.
