"Our greatest apologies, but it appears our big Release Party is a bust. The response to the party was so completely overwhelming that it not only crashed our server, but we can’t even put the server back up without it getting ransacked again within mere moments. We are taking the server offline for the rest of the day while we look into upgrades. We will inform you on how we are proceeding with the Release Party festivities when we have a new plan in order. The Management"

I saw this one coming a mile away.

At least they didn't put:

TheNigh has broken in to all of our storehouses holding the new Heroscape, so we're shutting down our servers tody due to depression.

It isn't truth's fault that this happened. The new vBulletin format could hold more members online at once over the old site, just not THIS many members jumping on together.

Stupid low person holding server. A new record was set though. 410 people on at once. I had limited connections on 'Scapers, but it was extremely slow. Too bad. Oh well, at least they can upgrade their bandwidth.
