Michael keeps his focus and launches another Aim Shot at the creature (Enemy -10, Michael -5)
The creature dropped dead where it stood. Micheal started to check on Uinen when a third creature jumped onto Michael. (Michael -20)

Uinen saw the creature attack his companion and hesitated, he was not a man used to the concept of loyalty and would have rather taken time to heal himself, but this man had saved him from being mauled moments before by taking a risky shot. And though it was a strange thing to feel, he knew he must help, even though he would be putting himself at terrible risk . Raising his hands, he summoned all his strength and chanted out Inupense, he felt rather than saw the wave leave his body and collapsed to the ground, unable to move. (-30 enemy, -20 self)

Michael saw Uinen collapsed in a heap of pain. He knew he had to end the battle immediately. With one last Aim Shot (Enemy -10, Micheal -5) the creature dropped dead in a heap. Rubbing his side in pain, Micheal went to check on Uinen.

Are you OK, sir?

Stirring from the blackness, he looks up and sees the gunner. It has been quite sometime since I have used so much power, I must heal., he says as he opens a flask of potion Ah, I feel much better, take a potion for yourself. As Michael drinks, Uinen asks, the creatures are destroyed, correct? (-2 healing potions, +50 life for Uinen and Michael)

Michael drinks down the potion given to him. After finishing the flask, he answers Uinen's question

Correct, the creatures are all dead.

I am not sure what has become of him either. I guess we must wait for his reappearance if we are to escape this world.

Michael directed his attention skyward as the rain continued to pour down

Agreed. Hopefully we won't be jumped by any more attackers before our friend comes back. Michael checks his gun to make sure it still functioned normally. For such a low-level weapon, it packed quite the firepower.

As Michael searches for anything of use, Uinen kneels on the ground and brushes away the snow after clearing an small circle, he touches the ground and whispers under his breath, suddenly enchanted flames burst into view creating a comforting warmth. He looks toward Michael and says, When you are finished come and warm yourself by the fire. My knowledge of fire magics is not enough to be useful in combat, but can keep us warm as we wait.

Micheal returned to the fire the Uinen had made. He sat down beside the flames, seemingly unaffected by the cold snow. I'm unsure if they had anything of real use on them.

I guess they were beasts of a low level then. Not one for small talk but since he is currently stranded here with him, he addresses Michael. So Gunner tell me about yourself, what brought you to the City of Twilight. He thinks to himself, One can never have too much knowledge.

Michael was wondering what brought about the attack on himself and Uinen when the question arised. He decided to answer the man's question.

Well, I came here to the city of Twilight because I heard of the mystic lands that it held. I guess curiosity got the better of me. Just before arriving, I grabbed this Microblaster to help protect myself in battle. It was a gift from my grandfather. I know it's more of a basic gun, but it was powerful enough to do the job tonight.
